Unsurprisingly, some of those tickets have now ended up on eBay for prices reaching up to $450 - and that's just for general admission. There's no official word yet on whether another wave of tickets may become available in the future.
Tickets for the annual Dota 2 event went on sale on Friday, with prices ranging from $99 for general admission to a $499 VIP package.
The International this year moves to Seattle's KeyArena, with the festivities lasting from July 18 to 21. Starting July 8, there will also be six days of playoffs to determine which teams will enter the competition.
